I've decided to have a proper freaking out about turning 30 and hired a trainer to get my ass in gear at the gym. Needless to say, I'm in a bit of pain today. I'm okay sitting and walking, but it's those in between parts of the act of sitting or getting up that may do me in. Pray for me.
There was lots of action outside my window last night. I was hoping the incoming sports bar had caught fire and was being set back. But nope, its seems to have been the religious school across the street. The firemen were back this morning too but I didn't see any smoke this morning. By the way, its hard to take pictures of smoke.
I turned 31 back in September. Around that time I started going to they gym and got a personal trainer. The past couple of years, I was doing consulting/freelance work from home and was horribly out of shape thanks to the nature of my work keeping my on butt for hours on end. Since September, I've lost about 40lbs, but more importantly my muscles are toned and I feel a 1000x better. I've started running too. I'm up to 6miles per day running (not jogging).
Keep it up! You won't regret it!

Thanks Dennis. I can't believe you've come so far in such a short time! So far I'm really enjoying it, although I think going everyday may be the key...
