We were kidding at the time about the governor...

During the Chinese New Year celebration, while I was shopping for Chinese candy in the Chinese candy store (who wants pickled figs?), there was a great amount of excitement on the street.  Eliot Spitzer was on his way down!  How exciting.  I rushed out just in time to see him duck into a building across the street.  I found it a little strange that it wasn't so much a "hang out with the people" walk as it was an urgent "must get to where I need to go"  walk.  And then we made all the appropriate happy ending jokes.
